Journalism Legend Daniel Schorr Dies At 93

It’s not often that we post about things not directly related to SaGR, but that will be changing and this is one I couldn’t pass up.

I’ve heard his voice or seen pieces by Dan Schorr since I was a kid. He’s pretty much done it all, from the Berlin Wall to the Cold War he was a much celebrated and beloved (and hated) journalist. An expert in a field where few truly shine, a gentleman and a journalist with integrity. He was also one of the original “Murrow’s boys,” the news team assembled by Edward R. Murrow.

He will be missed. See and hear more at NPR: Journalism Legend Daniel Schorr Dies At 93

Apologies for the lineup change this morning…

American Sunrise was short on their time so we had to add a filler show till the top of the hour.
