We had a couple requests to add Virtual Radio support for cell phone listeners. We submitted to their directory this morning and will post up links and information when it’s ready!

Added a few more items to the Amazon Store last night. A couple more OTR series and a section for renewable power. Thanks for the purchases last month! Every little bit helps pay the bills and keeps us “on air”.

As part of the site rebuild we will be shutting down the forums effective April 30th 2008.

This may or may not be permanent. Right now they get little to no use (other than the hosts) and maintaining them is somewhat pointless given that it’s just for us and show notes.

Add to this the huge influx of spambots looking to add spam for male “enhancement” pills and herbal supplements and porn sites in general it makes the forum a little less than fun to manage. As an example, yesterday we had 71 new members to the forums – not one of them was human!

If there’s enough demand in the future we will look into adding them back to the site.

Unfortunately it’s going to have to remain as a revenue generator. Heh, if you call that revenue

Check out the advertisers as I’ve been careful to make sure we get “good” ads. Amazon also pays a percentage of purchases made through our links. In most cases though the percentage is so small it’ll take many months to actually see anything out of it.

I will try to keep them all “below the fold” as long as possible (assuming Google and Amazon don’t change their rules).
